Palazzo Lombardia - every sunday free visits to the 39th floor

The Belvedere of Palazzo Lombardia opens its doors to the public on the occasion of the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci.

Every Sunday throughout 2019 - the 39th floor of Palazzo Lombardia is opened to the public. During extraordinary opens, one can go up to the viewing deck on the 39th floor, where the 360° view of Milan, from 160 m in the air, is unparalleled. On clear days, the breath-taking view extends from the Alps across the great flatlands of the Po Valley.

In the Belvedere area it is also possible to admire a reproduction of the famous Leonardo da Vinci's glider, produced in collaboration with the Science and Technology Museum of Milan. Exhibition panels and decals on Leonardo's work and life will help visitors to identify Leonardo's main places in Lombardy from the Belvedere view.

To ensure maximum visibility for the installation, the Sunday opening of the 39th floor is scheduled every Sunday from 10am to 6pm - free entry and free admission.

The Belvedere opening will be suspended from 20th July to 8th September 2019.
