Lombardy Region is the first Italian region which best spends the EU funding.
According the latest data of the ERDF (European regional development fund) - sometimes together with the Social fund - the Lombardy Region, followed by Emilia-Romagna, are the lonely two Italian regions which have less than 30% to certificate to the EC for their 2018 target.
By coming 31 December the Lombardy Region has still to get 21,9% of the available resources (24,5 milion euro), whilst Emilia-Romagna has still to receive 16,4 milion euro (approximately 26% of the 2018 target).
The regions which will not be able to get their EU funding risk to lose the allocated funds.
