The Lombardy regional election of 2018 will take place on 4 March 2018. The citizens registered in the electoral roll, provided by municipalities of Lombardy, will elect the new Regional Council and the President of the Region.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Persons entitled to vote should show a valid ID and electoral card at the polling station.
The Regional Council and the President of the Region are elected at the same time, by universal and direct suffrage, with personal, equal, free and secret vote, attributed to competing provincial lists and competing regional coalitions, formed by one or more groups of provincial lists, each connected with a candidate for the office of President of the Region.
The Lombardy regional election will take place in the same day of the Italian general election when the voters will elect the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic. For more information about Italian general election see Eligendo, the Ministry of Interior website dedicated to elections.
