CEF, Lombardy Region and FNM togehter for a suistainable mobility

How to strenghtening transport, energy and digital infrastructures through EU funds, particulurly the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) in the context of the Multiannual Financial Framework post 2020? 

This has been the heading of a high level conference on 28 November held at the European Parliament jointly organised by  Ferrovie Nord Milano (FNM) and Lombardy Region.

The debate gathered in Brussels Italian, regional and European representatives who focused on how enterprises and stakeholders could best profit from the EU funds for investments dedicated to a sustainable and safety mobility, to new sources of renewable energy and to the latest generation of digital interconnection. 

"We are all gathered here – said Ms Melania De Nichilo Rizzoli, Lombardy regional minister responsible for employment, training and culture – to show once more a common view on our polices and support Lombardy Region’s budget authonomy, given our best performance in spending EU regional funds for the best impact on our territories”.

To the event participated among others Gianantonio Arnoldi, FNM Vice-president, Luciano Barra Caracciolo, Undersecretary of State for EU affairs, Alessandro Carano, MoC of Commissioner Bulc, Simone Mori, Executive Vice-President and Head of Europe and Euro-Mediterranean Affairs of Enel and the MEPs Angelo Ciocca, Massimiliano Salini and Patrizia Toia.
